Tall lace-up boots - burgundy leather, low sole

Beautiful Andrea Contin leather combat boots with a taller shaft! These wonderfully simple and stylish ankle boots are made of exceptionally soft leather and are comfortable to wear. The burgundy leather shade is gorgeous, while the brown sole adds a lovely touch of edge. The boots have a wide fit, a slightly rounded toe, and the soft leather also molds comfortably to the foot. There are zippers on the inner sides for easy entry, and the laces allow you to adjust the fit very well. They fit both slimmer and wider calves! Really lovely boots for all kinds of occasions!

This model is the big sister, with its taller shaft, of the Hittimaiharit model named by the merchant sisters. 😊 The shorter-shaft Hittimaiharit model has been sold at Bellissima in many, many, many different colors. Otherwise, the models are the same, but this model has a taller shaft.

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• Length of the longer foot: 26.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot: 11 cm

Size 42 in this model was a good width for Maria’s foot. It felt slightly short in length, with her toes almost touching the end. Size 42 felt suitably snug on Maria’s foot, and the leather would certainly have given a little as well. However, because of the length, Maria would choose size 43; tightening the laces and adding an insole would make the next size fit comfortably.

Maria loosened the laces around the shaft until they fit her just right; Maria's calf circumference is 44 cm. The tongue of the shoe—the width of the flap under the laces—was more than wide enough, so they would also fit a wider calf in that respect. Maria left the topmost eyelets unlaced so that she could tie the laces. That looked nice too and did not hinder movement! Absolutely wonderful combat boots!
